TAKE THE ROLE OF AN AIRPORT CONTROL TOWER WORKER AND HELP THE PILOTS TO SOLVE TRICKY MID-FLIGHT SITUATIONS!

Do you know what happens to a plane when there's an in-flight emergency? We neither! But we surelly know how to make it into a fun experience.

So get ready to take the role of a employee at G.A.C.T. (Generic Airport Control Tower) and help pilots with their problems! Be careful though, Jame's is back with his shenanigans and you'll be the one to guide him through it. Good luck!

With this experience you will simulate in a playfull way the work of an employee at a control tower using alternative controls and the playable space as your tools. With the use of a landline telephone as the main game object and a surrounding interactive space that mimics an office station you'll have all the materials you need to accomplish your tasks. Pay attention to the workers manual and give it a good use!

Here are some key features about our flight school:

  • Alternative controls are the focus on this game. With this said be ready for an unique experience playing with... a landline phone! Weird, we know. But you'll get the charm of it eventually. Immerse yourself in the scenery and make this the job experience you never thought of!
  • A fun and comic narrative to follow through! Jame's is back doing and mideocre job as always to make sure to breathe in and take your time. Pacience is needed. Trust us :)
  • Unique experience with a playable ambience! Besides the phone itself you'll have a manual full of puzzles to decypher and an ambience full of flavour and interactions. Make sure to explore it all!
  • No need for graphics! Its all within the experience itself! 
  • Replayability! This games missions work in a modular way, wich means you'll have a different playthough everytime! 

The Gameplay and Play Experience:

This game is not available for download as this page is only for documenting the project. The gameplay itself is physical and involves a landline phone as its main controller together with a playable space that contrasts the player's immersion from the story with it's tasks in real life.

You'll use the landline phone to receive tasks that you have to complete in order to help the pilot (James) with his overwhelmingly impossible problems and to interact back. For it, you'll have the Worker's Manual by your side together with all the other physical object from the scenery to help you figure out the problems.

In the game, the manual itself is the part that contains the puzzles you be solving in order to advance in the game. They're all logical problems that resolve arround the goofy narrative of Jame's and its assistant.

The play experience itlsef resolves arround the narrative of being a worker at G.A.C.T., meaning you'll be simulation an a playful way what are the tasks of a Control Tower, outside of a real life scenario ofcourse. Altough the game itself cannot be downloaded/played only by accessing this page, we have the Worker's Manual below to download in case you want to check it out. Even if it doesnt make much sense without hearing the narrative inputs for it.


How to play:

  • To interact with the pilot you'll use the phone itself, through various inputs. Make sure to pay attention to the workers manual!
  • The manual itself is full of logic puzzles that you'll have to solve mid-assistance. Be quick! You may have many lives on your hands!
  • The ambience is part of the experience. Not only for immersion purpuses though. You'll have access to hidden stuff that might help you (or not) with your current problem. Besides that, who doesnt like extra content to explore!

The Studio:

Plane Crash: Episode 2® - Provisory prototype name was developed by PaPeRa Projekt® for an academic project at Lusofona University, Portugal, with the objective of making a playful experience utilizing alternative controls (landline phone) and playable spaces as part of the gameplay.
